Thankfully the heat of the last few days has subsided in time for todays @cr_uk #BigHike. Charity walkers are taking on marathon, half-marathon and 10k distances, starting and finishing in Grasmere.

It's the first @chillswim_uk of the season today, nearly 1000 swimmers have taken to Coniston Water swimming the whole 5.25miles. Our team is out providing Paramedic led cover and communication support.

We’ve been in #coniston today with our friends at @lakeland_trails for the 10km and 16km #trailrun it’s been a busy day for the team with a steady stream of patients at the medical centre in the #eventvilage and also out on the course. #trailrunning #eventmedic

Our team are out supporting @epiceventsltd Ullswater Trail Races today, there are distances to suit all abilities from the 55k Ultra down to 10miles. We are out across the breadth of the course should anyone need any assistance.

As the sun sets 16.5hrs after setting off this morning, the last riders of the @frontier300.cc are gradually making their way towards the finish at Druridge Bay. Our team is still out in the final forest section and at the finish supporting every rider across the line.

It's an early 0400hrs Start for Dave and Ronnie this morning, they are out in Rockcliffe for the start of the @frontier300.cc one day event. Riders will cover 300km across the Scottish Boarders, from the West to East coast finishing in Druridge Bay. Our medical teams will be on-hand accompanying the riders throughout their epic journey.

Today's team of Keiran and Paul have made it to Kielder, which marks the end of day one of the @frontier300.cc for the two day riders. Tomorrow they will depart at 0800hrs heading for the finish line at Druridge Bay. Whilst the riders attempting the full 300km in one day will set off from Rockcliffe at 0400hrs.

The @frontier300.cc is well underway with riders participating in the two day event now rolling into Eskdalemuir feed station. The 300km course takes in the best gravel sections the Scottish borders has to offer. Our Paramedic led team is out supporting all riders on both the two day and tomorrow's one day event.

And that’s a wrap #day3 of @keswickfestival done. An early start for the Dusk Run and another day of mixed events for the #eventcomms and medical teams. The weather was changeable but the participants were happy and smiley. We even managed to catch a glimpse of one of our #advancedclinicalpractitioner staff members out running the #50km trail run unfortunately the other was far too quick!! #event medicine

It was into a busy #day2 of @keswickfestival and both comms and medical teams had a busy day. With #triathalon #trailrun and #openwaterswimming events we had a range of conditions to treat and patients to see. Our #DMR network continued to provide communication for the marshalls and organisers as well as our own staff.

Our third event of the weekend sees another of our Paramedic led teams down at @epiceventsltd Southport Triathlon. Our team is located at transition and around the bike/run course should anyone need assistance.

Yesterday was #day1 of @keswickfestival an early start for our comms team who installed our temporary #DMR radio network to provide event wide communications. Our paramedic led medical team provided cover for the schools event and then the event village and evening entertainment #eventmedical #paramedic #VHFradio

It's all go in Grasmere today for The Walking With Wounded Cumbrian Challenge, teams are taking on the Fairfield horseshoe and Loughrigg from Grasmere. Our Paramedic led team are out around the course supporting the participants.
